Seri port gönderme sistemin epey yanlış. Datasheet bölüm 20.2.1'de maddeler halinde verilen prosedürü uygula. Ayrıca 20.0'ın başındaki bilgileri de oku. Seri port bacaklarının TRIS bitleri 1 olmalı (ikisinin de).

Genel olarak, ayarları yaptığında TX modülü açık olmalı. Bundan sonra tekrardan aç kapa yapılmaz. Gönderilecek olan veri TXREG'e yüklenir, göndermenin bitip bitmediği kesme bayrağına veya TSR ile ilgili bite bakılarak belirlenir. Gönderme bitmeden, veya TXREG dolu iken tekrardan yükleme yapılmaz (ki sen programda bunu yapıyorsun hiç beklemeden). TXREG clrf ile sıfırlanmaz, tabi eğer amacın 0 göndermek değilse. Yeni değer doğrudan TXREG'e yüklenir.
